after several months of leaving the meetings as soon as they ended or only staying for "the first meeting" then leaving the "second part", the elders finally cornered me at last night's meeting.. they said they were concerned about me and that being that i am a young brother in a recently divided congregation they saw so much potential in me to help out the congregation and become a ms.. i told them i was thankful for their thinking of me to help the congregation but that at the moment i could not due to my job.
then the began asking personal questions that got on my nerves.. they asked where i worked and how much i made.
they asked if i was going to college and what i was studying and for how long.
They're always concerned i grew to hate that word
we had one of those exploratory meetings someone said you said blah blah blah well i don't believe you who said I said that?
I knew it was over than because I was finished with organization and the whole deal we went to one more meeting and then we never went back didn't answer the phone or door and moved across the country and burnt that bridge big time
And i'm very happy to be rid of them

i have a cat that has always been a little feral and doesn't get along with the other cats socially.

It is my observation that people do not really want to follow archeological evidence wherever it leads whether they are biblically oriented or academics. Humans form an idea and want to stick to it and anyone who upsets the applecart gets criticism. i'm not sure what happened here or what we really are but I'm interested in the search and archeological finds are fascinating and mysteries are plentiful.

i always loved getting away on winter break.
we usually went to florida and now i live in florida, so i vacation at home!
where did you go for your winter break?
We took a staycation at a local place that had a special tis the season deal. the place was over the top decorated and we had christmas eve dinner and in the morning their christmas brunch. THey also have a spa and I had a relaxing facial so it was great.

again,i want to tell you all how great it is to have you all here.its been an interesting year,with my mom moving in w/me permanently and dealing w/her leaving the jw's {at 83!!!
